So what were the stripes? Election day kneesocks, but of course. :) This is about as patriotic as I get on my person but really, I just loved the color combo in this gorgeous yarn (again, it's Wollmeise sock yarn in Granatapfel and Vergissmeinnicht). Pretty rad. Photo's pretty craptastic but my resident talented photographer was unavailable today and well, you try taking a photo of your own leg!!
Also, as a bonus: I don't know if you've seen the moon this week but you should look up - it is AMAZING. This was taken yesterday early early morning from my window.

That is a darn good photo, considering that you had to take it yourself. The colors remind me a little of superman (ahem, maybe superwoman).
they're great. make sure you get a photo wearing them on election day.
