My bro and his lovely bride got hitched here in SF last week! My new sister-in-law had requested a custom shawl for the wedding, and of course I was happy to oblige. The finished product is pictured above (click for larger version) - for obvious reasons this pattern won't be available for purchase, but thought you all might like to have a look. I don't have any photos of her wearing it (at the reception, and the picnic the following day) but I'm sure someone does so if/when those photos are sent my way, I'll post one so you can see the shawl in action. And...here's the happy couple, with exaggerated groomsmen in tow. Awww.

Ok, I will ask the, not so obvious to me, question. Why won't this stunning pattern be available? The stole is just amazingly beautiful! Great Work!
beautiful! I'm sure it's going to be an heirloom for generations to come.... now if only I could marry into your family and get one?h
Beautiful!
Simply beautiful and elegant design. I am a huge fan!
This is amazing! I'm sad to read you won't be making the pattern available but I do understand it's such a personal item. Your sister-in-law is very lucky to have such a generous and talented person in her new family! :) I simply love the design.
